David Beeson was raised in Bucklands Beach and has lived in the Howick area all his adult life. His apprenticeship in carpentry was completed locally.  At last census he had, one wife, four children, two dogs and a cat.

In 1985, David started his own business, Beeson Building, concentrating mainly on residential construction.  Since 2003, he has built and managed some outstanding projects, not only in the Howick area, but also Whitford, Waiheke Island and Great Barrier Island. These projects have all generated a diverse range of challenges and all were successfully completed to a high standard, very much to the satisfaction of each client.

The variety of the projects undertaken has given David the skills to deal with challanges not normally encontoured with traditional builds where geography, complexity, uniqueness or sheer scale are major factors effecting the project.  

He is always eager to work on new projects and challenges, regardless or whether they are large or small.

David strives to make each project as stress free as possible for his clients, ensuring them of a positive experience.  He believes in keeping his clients informed and encourages them to be part of the decision making process from start to finish.

Building rapport and earning the trust of his clients is a key factor in David’s company being awarded projects that otherwise may not have happened. Especially when clients and designers know they may be absent from a site for days, weeks or even months at a time, due to the isolation of a particular project, or prior work commitments. Having confidence in their project leader's ability has been an essential factor of David's success.
